Fawlty Towers is a very attractive 5-bedroom property with private pool, situated in a quiet location at the top of Praia da Luz, yet only a few minutes’ walk to shops, restaurants and the beach.
The property is fully enclosed and accessed from a quiet cul-de-sac.
On the ground floor you will find the living/dining area, with dining table and chairs, a large sofa, some easy chairs and a central log fireplace. French windows open out onto a patio/garden at the side of the villa, where you will also find table and seating for some al-fresco dining.
The kitchen is very well equipped with a moveable island, fridge-freezer, oven + hob, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, juicer, food processor, among other appliances (all electric; no gas).
There are 3 bedrooms on this floor: one of the double bedrooms and the twin bedroom each have a full en-suite bathroom; the second double bedroom has use of a family shower room, just a little further down the hall.
On the first floor there are another two bedrooms: one is a double bedroom with full en-suite bathroom and and the other is a twin bedroom.
There is a further full family bathroom on this floor too.
A second living room is comfortably furnished with a large sofa, an individual chaise-longue and an open fireplace. A large flatscreen TV provides UK, PT & European channels; wi-fi is also available.
All bedrooms and both living areas have air-conditioning units to keep the house cool on those hot, summer days/evenings.
Up another flight of stairs is Fawlty Towers' pièce de résistance: an amazing roof terrace with spectacular birds-eye views of the village and the sea. This space is fully equipped for leisurely lunches and dinners, with built-in barbecue, fridge and sink, and comfortable seating for eating and relaxing.
On a lower floor (accessed from the kitchen) there is a huge games room that stretches the length of the house. Here you will find a pool table, table tennis table, foosball table, gym bike, wall-to-wall bookcase with plenty of books and some comfortable armchairs.
A bar with drinks fridge and bar stools is located at the back of this room.
Sliding doors open out onto an external staircase which leads up to the pool area.
Next to the games room/bar there is a laundry room where you will find the washing machine, iron and ironing board.
There is also a cloakroom down here, comprising toilet and washbasin.
Around the pool you will find plenty of sun loungers for relaxing, as well as tables and chairs for outside meals.
All the outside areas have good lighting, allowing for the evenings to be as enjoyable as the daytime.
This property is ideal for more than one family with plenty of rooms and areas for relaxation.
It is necessary to pay a refundable damage deposit on this property with your final payment. Providing there are no breakages this will be returned to you within 5 days of your departure.
The entire villa and all its facilities are completely private and for the exclusive use of its guests.

A beautiful villa with wonderful views. As a family of 10 there was plenty of room for all of us and the rooftop terrace was a fantastic place to enjoy evening meals. Good sized pool and the basement games room was well used in the late evening.Wouldsee more

Pool wall could do with a touch up. A welcome pack may be a good idea that you include as an extra bread, milk, butter and fresh fruit and juices.

Would highly recommend this villa for the perfect algarve stay.

É muito bem equipada e há uma preocupação de tornar a casa aconchegante e ao mesmo tempo funcional. Não parece uma casa de aluguel de temporada e sim uma casa com todo o conforto para se morar. O ponto alto é sem dúvida o terraço, que com a sua vista espetacular, proporcionou belos finais de dia, com excelentes vinhos e drinks. O nosso grupo era composto por avó, filhos e netos. (Dos 70 a 3 anos de idade). Para todos a casa ofereceu opções de lazer. A sala de jogos é um fator a mais para a alegria das crianças . A Praia da Luz é ótima para crianças e muito perto tem outras praias igualmente boas. Recomendo o passeio da Trilha dos Pescadores- de Luz a Porto de Mós que tem vistas lindas . O sentido Mos a Luz é mais fácil pois a subida é menos íngreme, |

Our two families (10 adults and late teens) rented this villa for a week.
It was our first time in Praia da Luz and first time renting via Luz Villa Rentals. In summary we would not hesitate to use the company or to rent the villa again.

The communication and flexibility offered by Gemma and co at Luz Villa Rentals in the weeks up to our stay was excellent and responses to questions were quick. Directions and check in info were clear. The villa itself is superb. Plenty of comfortable space for all of us and the place is well decorated and designed and exceptionally well equipped. The games basement room was a huge plus. Best villa stay we can remember! |
